The Big DEEP Sunflower competition
STEVE LITCHFIELD
It wasn’t the Olympics or the Euros, but the Big DEEP Sunflower certainly got the competitive juices flowing with DEEPers across the UK this year. Strange weather, hungry slugs and mice have not been so friendly to some. Others weathered the storm and scaled great heights, and dodgy ladders, to accurately record their achievements.
All in good fun, but it’s a great way for us all to connect. A big DEEP thanks to all of you who have taken part.
Well done to our Graham Allcock, who won the second prize of a Dig DEEPly trowel, with a very precise 10’ 4” and 7/8 – no doubt a science in growing this monster!
